Maximum Benefit Period If the employee becomes disabled before age 62, benefits may continue until age 65, SSNRA, or 3 years 6 months, whichever is longest. If disabled at age 62 or older, duration is based on age at disability. If the employee becomes disabled before age 62, benefits may continue until age 65, SSNRA, or 3 years 6 months, whichever is longest. If disabled at age 62 or older, duration is based on age at disability.
